All goods are returnable: with the exception of customised or engraved items. You have 30 days to return your order. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

-Provide a return label, so you can get the item back to us easily; -Provide a local drop-off point for you to take your parcel to; -Be clear whether you or we will be expected to pay for the return cost and why; -Return any monies due to you as quickly as possible (Usually within a day of receiving the item back); -Provide a portal for you to track the progress of your return, easily and transparently. -Behave with the utmost transparency and respect towards our customers.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable and not limited to)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. - Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Returns
-To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Exchanges
-We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email through Customer Service tab and send your item to the address given.
Refunds (if applicable)
-Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. -If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within usually a few days, while we may process your refund immediately, your card company may take a few days to credit it back. If this is an issue, get in touch and we will see if we can attempt to speed it up.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
-If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. -Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at payments@localbeavers.com.
Sale items (if applicable)
-Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Gifts
-If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
-If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
The warranty policy depends on what you purchased. If you faced an issue with any of the products, we recommend contacting us through the Customer Service tab on the website so that we can resolve your issue quickly.
LocalBeavers products are made of solid wood (pine, oak, walnut and more), stain, metal, paper, glue, LEDs and sometimes electronics!
All our orders are processed and delivered using our fulfilment partners; FedEx, unless otherwise discussed with you.
We started out using local postal services, however, much as we liked the idea of supporting them, we eventually realised it wasn’t our goods we were trusting them with - it’s yours. We spoke to customers and the overwhelming response was - we would rather pay a few extra pennies and get our stuff delivered predictably, to our door. Hence, we partnered with FedEx.
This means we will need your phone number when you make an order - but this is used only for the purpose of getting your stuff to you - ASAP.
Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 1 business day. This does not include custom orders - in these cases we will communicate with you during the commission process as to when you can expect the item we are making for you. If you just want to purchase something we have made and listed here on the site, this doesn’t apply to you, we will ship your purchase within a day, usually faster.
On Holidays and weekends, orders will be processed the next business day. If we are anticipating a high volume of orders, the notification bar across the top of all pages will have information and will tell you what to expect, also, the confirmation email you will be sent after purchase will have this information. If you need to cancel, simply get in touch before your order is shipped. Shipping rates and delivery estimates Final shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Use this table as a guide only. Note: We have extended delivery time by two days as a precaution due to the current pandemic. In most cases your item will arrive inside these estimates.
